Despite Seiho’s good defensive skills, they also have good passing skills. Kagami ended up getting his 3rd foul of the game. Seiho changed from martial arts defense movement to martial arts offense movement. In the first quarter, the score was 15-6 as Seiho were up by nine-points. Seirin has a plan to make a pass from behind the defense and they scored. They continue to go through Seiho’s defense and they’re scoring shots. The score was 19-16 as Seirin making a comeback. Kuroko steals the ball, pass it to Kagami. Kagami pass the ball to Hyuga and shoot a three point shot. As the 1st quarter is over, the game is tied at 19-19.

Kuroko no Basket episode 9

In the second quarter, Kagami was running out of energy against Seiho because he’s over pacing himself. He got an offensive foul on Tsugawa and that was his fourth foul. He and Kuroko were subbed out of the game in order to conserve their strength. Seirin change members using the first years: Koganei and Tsuchida. Koganei can shoot from all range but his accuracy is okay. Tsuchida is good at rebounding. Hyuga pass the ball to Mitobe and a did a slam dunk. The score was 31-30 and Seirin still down by one point. Seirin feels confident to Seiho and get their revenge since last years devastating lost to Seiho. Izuki helped out the team using his Eagle Eye: you can see everything from all angles and see the entire court. The seniors hold their own, using their specialties such as Izuki’s “Eagle Eye”. Less than five minutes in the 4th quarter, Seiho in the lead 64-58. When Koganei gets a light concussion, Kuroko was subbed back in the game in order to payback Kagami’s grudge against Tsugawa.

Rinnosuke Mitobe

This episode really amazes me to see different Seirin players have their own skills just like Kuroko and Kagami. Mitobe’s pressure defense, slam dunks and hook shots, Koganei’s okay shooting ability, Hyuga’s clutch shooting, and Izuki’s Eagle Eye. The funny thing about this episode is that Mitobe doesn’t talk much but he’s a good center to the team. Sometimes it’s cool to have a silent character in an anime show that refuse to talk. I wish I can be a silent just like Mitobe. When you stay silent, you stay focused and determined. Because of that, Mitobe is my favorite character because I’m just like him when I’m silent. If anyone is interested to watch Kuroko’s Basketball, check it out on http://www.crunchyroll.com #Anime #AnimeBasketball #AnimeReview #KurokosBasketball #KurokonoBasket #KurokosBasketballEpisodes #KurokoTetsuya #KagamiTaiga #KiseRyota #MidorimaShintaro #GenerationofMiracles #SeirinHighSchool
